Jordana Complete Cover 2-in-1 Concealer & Foundation

Maximum Coverage 2-in-1 Concealer & Foundation

Today, I’ve got the first installment of reviews for Jordana’s new Spring 2015 makeup collection that I recently received. If you are new to Jordana, it is the second brand in Milani Cosmetics stable of fabulous drugstore brands. Jordana is sold at Walgreens, K Mart, Duane Reade, and Save Mart Supermarkets. Unfortunately, it’s not always at the Walgreens stores near me.

I have the full collection of Jordana’s Complete Cover Maximum Cover 2-in-1 Concealer & Foundation. That’s 12 shades that range from very light to deep!

In spite of the great range of shades, I mix Fair Beige 01 which has yellow undertones with Natural Beige 05 with pink undertones to get the shade that works best for me. On the Jordana website, they describe each shade well to give you an idea of which shade or shades will work best for your skin tone.

This is what Jordana has to say about their Complete Cover 2-in-1 Conealer & Foundation:

  • INSTANT COMPLEXION PERFECTION
    – The Ultimate Multitasker Conceals Dark Spots, Imperfections, Dark Circles and Evens Out Skin Tone For a Flawless Look
    – Flexible Coverage – Full To Maximum
    – Long Wearing, Water Resistant & Oil-Free

So what did I think?

Jordana Complete Cover 2-in-1 Concealer & Foundation has a lovely texture. In fact, that’s what I like most about it. It feels both lightweight and very creamy at the same time. It does contain dimethicone, so if that ingredient doesn’t agree with your skin, you’ll have to pass. But for my mature skin, dimethicone is a boon, and I don’t need to apply primer before applying this foundation. Yay!

Because of my sun damage, I am always on the look out for full coverage foundation or BB/CC cream. And Jordana Complete Cover Foundation fits the bill. It provides good coverage for my sun damage, and then I dab on a bit more on a couple of my darker spots. Here I am wearing it:

It comes in a handy 1 oz. plastic tube. It’s priced at $3.99 and it’s made in the U.S. In addition to the stores listed above, Jordana Complete Cover 2-in-1 Concealer & Foundation will be available on the Jordana website.

  1. That much dimethicone would spell disaster for my skin. I would break out like a teenager but for those that can handle it… what a great selection of shades.

    1. I could definitely see that the dimeth might be a problem for some and I’m sorry it would be a problem for you, too, Laura! Because it is such a polarizing ingredient, I felt I better make sure I mentioned it. But that’s what makes me like the foundation so much, lol! It’s so smooth 😉

  2. I am in favour of dimethicone, actually – it helps fill out the acne scars. The foundation looks great on you. I love that it doubles as a concealer – that’s one thing less to reach for in the mornings, or to pack while travelling. I want this – think Honey Olive should be my shade.

        1. Susan, unfortunately none of them in the Jordana line is cool-toned. In order to wear it, I have to mix it with the white Manic Panic Dreamtone so I don’t wear the Jordana and also the Milani (also tends toward yellow) foundations very often. Boo hoo, right?

    1. Thanks for pointing that they don’t have chemical sunscreen, Erika! That’s important to me too. Although their line is quite extensive, you’ll have to see if there’s a shade light enough for your very fair skin. But it’s worth a look!

    1. I’m fairly new to Jordana, too, Carleen. I’m digging this foundation/concealer, and I’m trying out their new matte lipsticks that are incredible!

  3. I have been looking for these little beauties at Kmart and Walgreens and neither have them as of yesterday heheh.. Thanks for reviewing them, now I really want to try them out hehe

  4. I haven’t tried the brand as it’s not sold here at all, but I think I might have to do a little online shopping as I’ve heard great things about them. Looks like they have a great selection of shades too.

    1. It may not be, Stephanie. They did a great job, I think, on the medium to dark shades, but they could use another shade or two on the “fair” end of the spectrum! But take a look. For $3.99, it’s worth a trip to Walgreens!
