Brows On Fleek with Mirabella Beauty

Mirabella Beauty Quick Brow Powder & The Brow Pencil neversaydiebeauty.com

My brows are still a work in progress. They’re not as full as they used to be, so they definitely need more help. I just talked with my friend, Laura, yesterday about who her daughters go to for brow shaping. I think I’ll have my brows shaped professionally for the first time – can you believe it? – and then I’ll be able to keep them up better after I have something to go by.

I have bangs so you can’t always see my brows. Plus I get my brows colored when I have my hair colored, so I don’t feel the need to do my brows everyday. But brows are definitely a thing, and they have been for a few years now. When I do my brows, my makeup looks more finished and I think my eyes stand out more. So lately I’ve been trying to do my brows more often.

Last spring, Mirabella Beauty sent me their Borrowed From The Boys Brow Collection to review, but at the time, they didn’t have a redhead shade among the lovely pencils they sent. I as well as many others asked them to introduce an auburn shade, and they did! I just received mine to try out a few days ago. The Mirabella Brow Pencil is a slim twist up pencil with a fine point for precision and a handy spoolie on the other end. The color is soft and easy to use – I just need more practice in drawing the lines to help create my ideal brow shape! The new Auburn shade is a good match for me. Yay!

Mirabella also sent me their new Quick Brow, a loose brow powder in Light/Medium that’s applied from a bottle with a small rounded-tip applicator. Easy peasy to apply on the wider parts of my brows. It’s especially good for filling in the sparse areas. And it’s very natural looking. You can also build it up for a bolder brow look.

Here are swatches of the two, Quick Brow, Light/Medium and Brow Pencil, Auburn:

I don’t have the patience to spend a lot of time on my brows, and I love how quick these two are to use. I’m pleased with my brows using the new Mirabella Quick Brow and Auburn Brow Pencil! I think my brows look natural and soft, good for everyday.

  1. I do my brows everyday as I wear makeup everyday too. I do that because I have so much products to try and finish and I also love having my own little time playing with makeup every morning. I agree that having a great brow day makes a huge difference to my face, I find myself looking more polished. I haven’t tried much from Mirabella, I think only a lipstick so far.

    1. Your brows always look perfect in your pix, Shireen! I think having bangs has made me lazy but I’m trying to rise to the occasion and get better at doing my brows.

    1. I know what you mean, Helen, and I don’t even have an excuse…but I’m getting better about it. Yes, the applicator is a very helpful shape and size that makes application so quick & easy!

  2. I love that they finally recognized redheads. It makes them unique in the cosmetic world. I am still reminding myself to do my brows daily but sometimes I just forget. I never used to need to touch them up but I do now.

    1. This new one isn’t brow gel, it’s an easy to apply powder that goes on like a breeze, and I haven’t used gel over it – it just stays put. And yes, the pencils are great. I was hoping and waiting for them to come out with the auburn shade!

  3. I LOVE the Mirabella brow pencils. If I’m taking my time I use Medium on the front portion and Dark through the ends. If not, I just Dark all over. I still have to try out the powder, but I’m not sure the Light/Medium shade will show up too well on my dark brows.
