MyChelle Dermaceuticals is one of my absolute favorites when it comes to natural, cruelty-free, affordable skincare products.
Their cream and spray sunscreens are my go-tos in the summer. And if you have not sniffed and tried their pumpkin skincare line including my favorite Creamy Pumpkin Cleanser, you are truly missing out. So I was excited to receive three new skincare and suncare products from the brand.
Just thought I’d mention that I love MyChelle’s way of labeling their products and linking them to the set up of their easy to use website. Each product is categorized on the label, and that’s how the website is set up. Love it.
MyChelle Quick Clean Micellar Water
Micellar Water sure has become a trend in cleansing, and I’m happy about it. It’s easy to use, doesn’t need rinsing and doesn’t leave behind residue. I have tried several brands, and have had good luck with most of them. Nevertheless, I think “the more the merrier”, and I was glad to see that MyChelle has jumped into the fray. Looking at their ingredient list, I see way more natural ingredients than some of the other brands I’ve tried.
Also, MyChelle Quick Clean Micellar Water has a terrific push-down pump dispenser that makes it so easy to use.
MyChelle Quick Clean Micellar Water does a good job removing my makeup including eye makeup without a lot of tugging. I have used it on Mirabella’s waterproof mascara, and it has no trouble getting it off. Two small cotton rounds gets everything off. I like to use one round for my eye makeup and another for my foundation.
It doesn’t sting at all (and I have sensitive eyes) and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or stripped.

MyChelle Perfect C Pro Serum 25%
MyChelle makes an entire line of Vitamin C skincare products, and I own a bunch of them. In fact, as part of that line they have a 17% Perfect C Pro Serum, but now they have upped the ante and introduced new Perfect C Pro Serum 25% L-Ascorbic Acid, the highest percentage of stable vitamin C in a serum. The serum promises to brighten, provide antioxidant defense and fortify skin. The bottle says to use it in the morning, but truth be told, I’m using this baby twice a day.
It’s an orange colored medium weight (meaning it’s not runny, thank goodness) serum with a faint orange scent. It dries quite quickly. It comes in an opaque pump bottle for easy dispensing.
I instantly became a big fan of this vitamin C serum. It’s a keeper.

MyChelle Sun Shield Liquid Tint SPF 50
MyChelle Sun Shield Liquid Tint SPF 50 is a lightweight, sheer, tinted, oil-free emulsion with 100% mineral broad spectrum (UVA/UVB )protection. The active ingredient is zinc oxide, a physical sunscreen, yet this is an amazingly lightweight product!
I received two shades in easy to use pump bottles:
Nude Light/Medium is a smidgen too dark for me now (I’m somewhere between Fair and Light) to be a perfect match, but in the summer it will be a true match. Nevertheless, it’s not that far off. I am wearing it now on days that I am spending a lot of time outdoors. It was perfect for my snowshoeing outings. And I’ll be wearing it to the beach or whenever I’ll be outside this spring and summer. Here’s the Nude: Light/Medium blob and also swatched on my skin so you can see the color. I am going to give away the Natural Tan for medium/dark skin so I don’t want to open it. You’ll have to use the swatch on the box for comparison.
I read that it contains Bentonite to absorb excess oil and impurities from pores, but it is still comfortable for even a dry-skinned gal like me to wear. It has a matte finish and is greaseless. It can be worn alone as I’ve been doing now or under another foundation as a primer.

Active Ingredient: Zinc Oxide, 16.1% Inactive Ingredients: Agave Tequilana Leaf Extract, Bentonite, Butyloctyl Salicylate, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Capryloyl Glycerin/Sebacic Acid Copolymer, Caprylyl Glycol, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Oleosomes, Cetearyl Alcohol, Coco-Glucoside, Diheptyl Succinate, Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein / PVP Crosspolymer, Iron Oxides, Jojoba Esters, Maltose, Octyldodecanol, Sodium Gluconate, Tocopherol, Trihydroxystearin, Water *Although the website says the product is made without gluten, I noticed that Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein is in the ingredient list. I’m sure those of you who are gluten-free know more about this than I do, but I wanted to call it out just in case that’s an ingredient you avoid if you are GF.
MyChelle Dermaceuticals products are made without GMO, Gluten, Parabens, Petroleum, Phthalates, Sulfates, Ureas, Artificial Fragrances, and Artificial Colors. They are vegan and cruelty-free. Yes, you’re right, Marcia. The light-medium shade would be too dark/yellow for you. It’s a shame that don’t have a lighter shade because with SPF 50 and the fact that it’s lightweight and greaseless make it idea to use on its own or in conjunction with foundation.
I bought a retinol serum from MyChelle in my last skincare haul. I haven’t opened it, since I’m using another brand at the mo, but it looks very promising!

My skin tone matches the photos posted here. I work outside every day and need products with SPF. This My Chelle Sun Shield is a perfect rpoduct for me.

I’d love to try this because I like to wear tinted moisturizer over concealer. I am almost out of my Laura Mercier tinted SPF lotion, and I’d like to try a different brand.

Commenting as Tracy Pf: I’d like to win because it has a high SPF and it’s tinted and it’s a moisturizer. I can be a little lazy when I go on hikes or walks I neglect wearing make-up and sometimes forget to put sunscreen on. I could definitely use this.

I would love to get this because I am looking for a sunscreen with a tint. I have a darker complexion and kept shying away from using sunscreen because the coloring was usually too light. I know that I need to be more vigilant with my sun protection so I would love to find a product that will work well with my makeup and complexion.

It would be a simple way to remember to use SPF on a daily basis. I often forget about the importance of it in the loooong dark winter months
