I test a lot of skincare, and it’s amazing how many excellent and effective products there are out there. So many choices!

I have a few eye products that are my favorites, but I’m always open to trying more. Recently, I had a chance to try Paula’s Choice Resist Anti-aging Eye Cream.

The cream itself is thick and rich, more like a balm than a lotion or cream.

I only need to use a tiny bit to cover my entire eye area: the lid and above as well as around and under my eyes. Resist Anti-aging Eye Cream is definitely formulated for dry or very dry skin, like mine! If you have oily skin or lids, walk on by. This is for us dry-skinned peeps with dry peepers 😉

At first, I was concerned that the rich balm would be too thick and greasy even for me. No way! It goes on easily and seems to melt into and onto my skin. In fact, when I’m wearing it, if I touch my crow’s feet, my skin feels so much smoother, almost wrinkle-free. It feels and looks firmer too. Applying it before bedtime, I wake up with very nicely hydrated skin. Using this eye cream in the winter will be a no-brainer for me, but even now at the start of the summer, it’s still perfect for keeping my year-round dry skin smooth and hydrated.

Paula’s Choice Resist Anti-aging Eye Cream is formulated with antioxidants and hydrating, replenishing ingredients. I love how Paula’s Choice explains what each ingredient does. Take a look.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (shea butter/emollient/antioxidant), Glycerin hydration/skin replenishing), Dimethicone (hydration), Sodium PCA (hydration/skin replenishing), Hydrogenated Polyisobutene (texture-enhancing), Ascorbyl Glucoside (vitamin C/antioxidant), Sodium Polyacrylate (texture-enhancing), Hydrogenated Lecithin (skin-restoring), Glucosyl Hesperidin (skin replenishing), Copper Gluconate (skin-restoring), Troxerutin (skin-restoring), Disodium Rutinyl Disulfate (skin-restoring), Resveratrol (antioxidant), Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38 (skin-restoring), Caprooyl Tetrapeptide-3 (skin-restoring), Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract (licorice extract/skin-soothing), Phytic Acid (skin replenishing), Beta-Glucan (skin-soothing/antioxidant), Acetyl Glucosamine (skin replenishing), Tocopherol (vitamin E/antioxidant), Allantoin (skin-soothing), Adenosine (skin-restoring), Dextran (hydration/skin replenishing), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (emollient), Sea Whip Extract (skin-soothing), Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi Leaf Extract (bearberry extract/antioxidant), Salix Alba Bark Extract (willow bark extract/skin-soothing), Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6 (texture-enhancing), Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin (texture-enhancing), Xanthan Gum (texture-enhancing), Cetearyl Alcohol (texture-enhancing), Maltodextrin (hydration), Benzyl Alcohol (preservative), Phenoxyethanol (preservative).

  1. I’m always looking for that magical eye cream to help my extra dry eye area. I didn’t realize the Resist line even had an eye cream. I’m going to order a travel size or sample to try.

  2. This is one of the few eye creams I’ve used up. I tend to try so many that I don’t always get to the bottom but PC was one I kept coming back to until it was gone.

    1. I’m glad to hear that it’s one of your faves, Marcia. I think it may become my go-to for winter, though I’m enjoying it now too especially at night. It’s supremely hydrating.

  3. It sounds like something I could use in the evening! I wouldn’t say that I have super dry skin under my eyes, but my concealers alway make it look dryer. I guess I could do with more moisture.

    1. I think it’s a really good eye cream for the cold weather to combat dryness from indoor heat or wind. Think of it when the temps go back down (tho I think you’re in Cali?)
