About a month or so ago, I wrote about one of my favorite natural facial moisturizers of the year, Cremeplexion Face Cream from Humboldt Soap Company. What I love most about Cremeplexion is the unique mousse-like consistency that makes it feel as light as a feather on my skin. It is not like any other moisturizer I have used!
After I reviewed Cremeplexion (here), Arice, the owner and founder of Humboldt Soap Company asked me if I would try another product that she had in the works, Skin Conditioner, a body lotion. I tried it, and it was a good lotion, but it didn’t seem nearly as unique to me as Cremeplexion. Because of my background as a marketing consultant, I couldn’t help but add my two cents. Well, to be fair, Arice asked me for my opinion of their new product in development before she decided whether to launch it.
So after our discussion, Arice decided to reformulat the body product, and Body Mousse from Humboldt Soap Company was born.
Body Mousse is a fluffy, creamy, rich but lightweight, seriously hydrating body butter. The nourishing formulation is handcrafted with natural and organic ingredients. The key ingredients include:
- four different natural butters: shea butter, babassu butter, cocoa butter, mango butter
- Argan oil
- Panthenol
- Jojoba oil
- Avocado oil
- Green tea.
The consistency reminds me of a cloud! But it immediately moisturizes and softens skin with no greasy feel. You feel the hydration right away. It’s perfect for all skin types.
Body Mousse comes in 5 different scents:
- Banana Mango
- Hot Chocolate Mocha
- Strawberry Pear
- Blackberry Coconut
- Vanilla Frosting.
They each smell amazing! Frankly, I keep unscrewing the tops of the tubs and sniffing them, they smell that good! Today, I would say my favorites are Banana Mango, Hot Chocolate Mocha and Strawberry Pear. Their scents are so real and natural smelling that they smell like they were cooked up by a chef! Just yummy.
While a little goes a long way, I love the consistency, the velvety skin feel and the natural scents so much that I practically use too much of it. Settle down, girl. Easy now!
No parabéns, sulfates or petroleum. Body Mousse and all products from Humboldt Soap Company are never tested on animals.

Ingredients: Distilled Water, Avocado Oil, Emulsifying Wax, Stearic Acid, Panthenol, Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter, Organic Babassu Butter, Argan Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Cocoa Butter, Mango Butter, Vitamin E Oil, Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Sorbic Acid (paraben free preservative), Green Tea Powder, Fragrance, Mica Colorant.
These sound as though they smell divine! Vanilla Frosting sounds especially yummy!
All of these sound fantastic and I would use all of these!

The Body Mousse is surprisingly fluffy and lightweight though still very hydrating. And the scents are a wow.
