Doll 10 Beauty Makeup Miracles Collection

I Bought This, Informational Links, Affiliate Link

Cindy from Prime Beauty Blog and I often gravitate toward the same shades in makeup, usually golds, coppers, peaches. So when she recommends new makeup that she has tried, I pay attention.

A few weeks ago, Cindy reviewed Doll 10 Beauty’s Makeup Miracles Collection on Prime Beauty, and she liked it. I wasn’t familiar with Doll 10 Beauty, so the 4 piece Makeup Miracles Collection seemed like a good way to get acquainted. The collection includes:

  • T.C.E. Super Coverage Serum Makeup
  • Skin Buffing Brush
  • Lash Remedy Transforming Peptide Mascara
  • T.C.E. Supremely Bold Clean Lip Color, shade No Boundaries

T.C.E. Super Coverage Serum Makeup

T.C.E. stands for “this covers everything”, and they weren’t kidding. Here’s the Light shade out of the tube, and next it has just about covered the dark spots on my arm.

The gel-based serum makeup is color-correcting and absolutely full coverage. Yet, it has a real skin finish. It doesn’t look heavy or mask-like at all.

It’s moisturizing, soothing, protective with ingredients:

  • vitamin C
  • magnesium
  • green tea extract
  • aloe vera

It also has titanium dioxide for brightness.

The website shows you models wearing each of the shades to help you choose your shade. While I am usually Fair/Light in foundation, this time I chose Light. Cindy had chosen a shade darker than she usually wears, and when I looked at the Fair/Light model, her skin tone looked lighter than mine. I think Light was a good choice. I might say that Light is a little warmer toned than I would normally wear, but all in all it’s a pretty darn good match.

I haven’t been wearing foundation very often this past year and a half. This summer, on the few occasions where I have worn foundation, I chose the lightest weight, most watery foundation that I own. So in comparison to that, T.C.E. Super Coverage Serum Makeup does feel a little bit heavier, but it isn’t “heavy” or uncomfortable. Because it’s a gel, it feel good, comfortable. When the temperatures get a little cooler, I think it will be perfect.

Ingredients: Aqua [Water, Eau], Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclohexasiloxane, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Butylene Glycol, Caprylyl Methicone, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Phenyl Trimethicone, Glycerin, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Pentylene Glycol, Magnesium Sulfate, Lauryl PEG-9 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Dimethicone, 1,2-Hexanediol, Acrylates/Stearyl Acrylate/Dimethicone Methacrylate Copolymer, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Propanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Chlorella Vulgaris Extract, Lactic Acid, Tocopherol, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter [Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter], Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract [Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract], Vaccinium Vitis-Idaea Leaf Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia Extract [Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Extract], Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Cucumis Sativus Fruit Extract [Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract], Codium Fragile Extract, Chlorella Minutissima Extract, Enteromorpha Compressa Extract, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Water, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Aluminum Hydroxide, Citric Acid, Parfum/Fragrance, Benzyl Benzoate, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Limonene, Titanium Dioxide (Ci 77891), CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77492, CI 77499 [Iron Oxides].

Skin Buffing Brush

The Skin Buffing Brush is as soft and as super densely packed with synthetic fibers as it looks. However, it is larger than what I usually use to apply my foundation. I use a small, Artis-style brush or a smaller slant-top or flat-top kabuki, so the Doll 10 Beauty Skin Buffing Brush is much larger than what I am used to. Though I have tried it as a foundation applicator, I really use it to blend or buff my foundation after I apply it with my usual small Artis-style brush. So for me, the brush is nice, but it’s not something I will use all the time.

Lash Remedy Transforming Peptide Mascara

Right now, I have several new-to-me mascaras that I have really been enjoying, e.g. Half Caked tube mascara, Milk Makeup mascara among others. I wasn’t expecting Doll 10 Beauty to provide me with yet another new favorite.

The first thing that I look at when it comes to mascara is the wand. You probably know that I love wands with plastic teeth, and the Lash Remedy wand has plastic teeth. In fact, the teeth are great because one set of teeth are slightly longer and closer together for application, and the other set are shorter and slightly farther apart to comb through the lashes. I love that.

I’m less in love with the curved shape of the wand, but that must be happening thing these days because I have several. No curved wand to date has fit the shape of my downturned eyes. Oh well, I can handle it.

I need more experience with the formula, but so far, so excellent. The mascara is both lengthening and volumizing.

And it curls my lashes and keeps them curled. Yet my lashes don’t feel “crispy”, they’re soft. I really like this mascara!

Lash Remedy Transforming Peptide Mascara is gel-based. It is billed as water resistant, but so far I haven’t worn it to the beach so I don’t know. Actually, I didn’t realize that it is water resistant or I would have tried wearing it to Vidal Sassoon today. (I usually don’t wear mascara when I have my hair colored because all the hair washing and water flying around. I’ll try it next month.) This mascara doesn’t flake or smear or give me raccoon eyes.

Peptides, strings of amino acids that are the building blocks of proteins, are the “it ingredient” for the past couple of years. They help keep wrinkles at bay, strengthen hair and nails by stimulating the production of collagen. Peptides are in this mascara along with waxes, panthenol, biotin, and castor oil. So maybe peptides in mascara along with those other traditional hair-building ingredients make sense to help keep lashes supple and prevent breakage.

T.C.E. Supremely Bold Clean Lip Color

I wrote about T.C.E. Supremely Bold Clean Lip Color yesterday for National Lipstick Day in my list of current lip faves. This full coverage but incredibly lightweight lipstick covers with ease in one swipe. It’s highly pigmented with mineral pigments, and the botanical oils make it glide on and feel so good on my lips. Plus it has a creamy, almost glossy finish. I just love it!

The shade, No Boundaries, is a lovely light to medium rose pink, so pretty for summer and a good shade for my coloring.

The lipstick is as light as a feather. It stays put and doesn’t wander into my liplines.

I wish they sold the lipstick separately, but No Boundaries appears to be a unique to the Miracle Makeup collection.

Final Info and Thoughts

I couldn’t be happier with Doll 10 Beauty Miracle Makeup Collection. It was an impulse buy based on Cindy from Prime Beauty’s review, and I’m so glad I went for it. The price is $54.95, and the Miracle Makeup collection is sold on the Doll 10 Beauty website. I think it was well worth it for the four high quality products at least three of which I will use often. When I was buying it, I tried signing up for emails to get 20% off, but unfortunately, you can’t use their discounts on special boxes like this. But that’s OK, I am very pleased with my purchase. I will try more products from Doll 10 Beauty in the future.

BTW, Doll 10 Beauty is a clean beauty brand started by Dr. Doris Dalton who is a cancer survivor, making sure that concerning ingredients were not in her ingredient lists. And in addition, the products are cruelty-free and often vegan. Check out the Doll 10 Beauty lineup.

  1. I love Doll 10. HSN AND QVC carries the brand. Great prices too. But I have to stick with my It Cosmetics foundation because it has a built in sunscreen.

    1. Thanks for letting me know about Doll 10 on HSN & QVC, DiEtta! I will be on the lookout for sure. You are right that built in sunscreen is a boon. Although IT’s CC Cream that I used to wear has become too heavy for me, I like the Bye Bye Foundation for the cooler months.

  2. I’m so happy you like everything as much as I do. I wasn’t overly impressed with the mascara but it grew on me. The lipstick looks so, so, pretty on you! Your timing with the review is funny–I was just about to DM you to see if you purchased the kit! LOL

  3. I only have a few Doll 10 items but what I have is great especially their cream blush. I have one sitting front and center in my cream blush collection. I need to investigate the line even more.

    1. The lipstick shade is perfect for me, and you may like it too. I would describe it as rose, a medium pink. I think the mascara is terrific. And if you need to add a full coverage foundation to your collection, this may well be it 🙂
