Which Beauty Products Do You Stockpile?

Sometimes it’s because I don’t want to run out. And other times, it’s that I got a deal and decided to stock up on my favorite beauty products. i don’t do this for everything I try, but for products that I really like or love, I usually have at least one waiting in the wings.

Let’s take a look at my stash.

Rimmel-Makeup-Remover

I Bought This     Affiliate Links

I cannot be without a spare or two of Rimmel Makeup Remover (reviewed here). I love this gentle but hardworking makeup remover. I used to be loyal to Maybelline’s makeup remover, but I prefer Rimmel’s larger size and it’s gentle formula. Unfortunately, CVS doesn’t carry it, so I stock up when Ulta has a sale or a coupon or if I make a trip to Walmart. I hate to run out of makeup remover.

  • Sea Sponges

sea-sponges

Natural sea sponges are my favorite for washing my face. They are so silky soft on my sensitive skin. Since sponges can harbor bacteria I change them often, thus the need to stock up.

  • NeoCell Fish Collagen Supplements

Neocell-Fish-Collagen

NeoCell Fish Collagen supplements (reviewed here) have been one of the key factors in my skin looking brighter and firmer. Plus, my knees feel a lot better, too, which is great for my jogging! Unfortunately, NeoCell Fish Collagen isn’t carried in the Vitamin Shoppes or GNC stores near me — though other products in the line are — so I have to buy it online. I stock up to make sure I don’t run out, and to take advantage of discounts and free shipping.

  • City Lips Lip Plumper, Clear

City-Lips-Clear-2

I am addicted to City Lips Lip Plumper (reviewed here). Not only has it increased the fullness of my lips, it is the only product I have tried that gets rid of my dry, chapped lips and makes them feel soft and comfortable. City Lips contains hyaluronic acid and collagen to hydrate and build up lip volume. I’m sold.

  • Body Butters and Scrubs: Nature Island Botanicals, 80 Acres

Body-butters-scrub

I adore three different brands of body butter – Nature Island Botanicals (reviewed here), 80 Acres (reviewed here) and Authentic Skin Remedies Quench (not in photo) (reviewed here). I have such dry skin, body butter is the solution for me. And I’m hooked on coconut and citrus scents. All three of these brands smell like heaven and do a great job hydrating and smoothing my skin. I cannot be without any of them so I always have at least one and a spare of each brand. A bit excessive, but that’s how it is. I also love Nature Island Botanicals scrub, so I have three of those, one in each scent: citrus, coconut, green tea.

  • COUI Super C Serum

COUI-Super-C-2

COUI Super C Serum (reviewed here) is another of the must-haves in my skincare regimen. I love the light citrus scent, the thicker formula, and the results that this serum delivers. In spite of the fact that I test other brands from time to time, I don’t like to be without this serum!

Hada-Labo-Skincare

Hada Labo Tokyo Skincare has my heart (reviewed here). Though I test lots of skincare products, when I buy my own, this is the brand that I buy. It works and it’s affordable. I love the lightweight feel of the Hada Labo Skincare products. If you haven’t tried Hada Labo Tokyo Skincare (reviewed here), you should. It’s sold in stores at Ulta and at Walgreens. IMHO, you can’t beat it!

There are even more products that I stock up on, but this is enough for today. How about you? Tell me which beauty products do you stock up on? And check out my fellow beauty bloggers’ must-have beauty products by clicking the links at the bottom of the post!

  1. I can really shop my own stash, too. I hate running out of my faves, but I love trying new things! And then there’s the sales… How often do you recommend changing your face sponge? I’ve been using one of those konjac sponges and haven’t figured out when it’s time to replace it.

    1. Nidia, I would check the Konjac website but I think the Konjac sponges have an anti-bacterial that may let you use them for longer than a natural sponge that doesn’t.

    1. That’s great that you use sea sponges on your baby. They are so soft. And yes, we’re lucky to have Hada Labo Tokyo in the US now. They sell the Japanese products at HMart, the Korean hypermart I go to sometimes but I’m not sure which is which so I haven’t tried those yet.

  2. I love seeing your recommendations! Have tried several, and you haven’t steered me wrong yet! (I just bought the COUI Vitamin C serum but haven’t opened it yet.) Gonna try the Rimmel makeup remover, too. I don’t stockpile too much, but when Elizabeth Grady products are on sale, I have 3 faves I stash away: Phase III Micro Emulsion (serum with retinol that is great for my wrinkles), Mineral Complex Cream, and Triple Peel Pads (like a facial peel in a jar!).

    1. Thanks so much, Kim! I hope you will like the COUI Vitamin C serum. It really has brightened and firmed my skin, and you can’t go wrong with the Rimmel makeup remover. I know you love Elizabeth Grady for facials and beauty products. I have to go there again for a facial one of these days. The serum with retinol and the peel pads sound particularly enticing to me!

  3. I definitely hoard sugar scrubs, salt scrubs and body wash! Once I find what I like I’m terrified they’ll stop being produced. People look at me like I’m crazy when I have tons of the same item in the store!

  4. You stockpile some great basics and facial products. I think my life would be easier if I did have a stockpile of shower sponges, etc in my house instead of eyeshadows.

    1. Oooh, I’d love to read more about that English brand, Dima! I hope you’ll review on your blog someday. I love skincare with vitamin C in it! I think it is comforting to stockpile the products that I really love. Although I once bought 5 tubes of a milk chocolate cream eyeshadow from Urban Decay when they discontinued it, but I haven’t used any of them. I moved on to other products, lol!
