Hope you’re having a great holiday weekend! I went to two Seders, Friday and Saturday nights. And today, I’m off to an Easter lunch hosted by my cousin’s wife. It’s always a good time.

  1. Happy Easter to you Allison. Hope you enjoy the day. It is a gorgeous here and that always pleases me after a long winter.

    1. Laura, I didn’t see your comment with your lovely wishes! I hope you had a wonderful Easter! Did you have any special plans yesterday? It was still cold here (40 degrees) so the adults stayed indoors while the little kids did the Easter egg hunt. Fortunately, my cousin’s yard didn’t have much snow so the kids had fun in spite of the temperature.

      1. We had a huge dinner at my parent’s house. My brother’s family was there. My other brother and his family went to Florida for Easter. My husband and I prepped everything and then went back over a couple hours beforehand to cook it. My husband and I do this for every family get together. I do not think my brothers appreciate the time it takes to do. I do not know how my mother did it all by herself when we were young. My brothers only stay around 2 hours which includes eating and then leave. They are both brats! lol My husband and I and usually my grown kids stay for hours. We do not feel obligated to do so. We enjoy my parents’ company. Besides some day we will not all be here to do this.
I purchased more of the Jordana Modern Matte lipsticks. After loving the Blush you gifted me and then the Classy shade I had to get others. I got Tease, Bare, Pretty and a back up of Classy. I am considering Popular and another shade I cannot recall. I have not tried the new ones I picked up yet but I am addicted to Classy. It is so pretty. I love the formula. These babies do not budge and boy do they last. I cannot believe these only cost $2.49!!! I did not know they were a sister company of Milani either. I feel like I knew it at one time but forgot. 😉

        1. Your Easter dinner sounds wonderful. And so great that you and your husband do all the cooking for your parents in their home so they don’t have to go out and your family can still gather at your parents’ home. Too bad brothers often don’t get it! You’re right, you should enjoy being with your parents while you can. My parents died young and I still miss them a lot.

I’m glad that the new Jordana matte lippie have been such a success for you, Laura. I love them too, and wear them a lot. I should look at the name of those I’m wearing most — pinks and nudes mostly! Like you said, at that price, they are a steal!
