Xanadu 24K Gold Serum by ISA Professional

Xanadu 24K gold facial serum with gold flecks

Did you ever get a skincare product that you could hardly wait to use? I often feel this way about makeup, but not often for skincare.

But when I received Xanadu 24K Gold Serum by ISA Professional, I could hardly wait to open it. This is why.

Look at it! Isn’t it gorgeous?! Those are gold flecks suspended throughout the light gel serum. And I also love the shape of the little glass pump bottle.

Xanadu 24K Gold Serum from ISA Professional is an antioxidant facial serum. I am truly a serum junkie so I definitely needed to try a serum that contained gold in addition to vitamins C and E, botanicals, hyaluronic acid, Matrixyl, and EFG. Gold dissolves on the skin’s surface to reflect light. In addition, gold has anti-inflammatory properties. The tiny gold particles also protect against fine lines and discoloration. I can concur that my skin instantly has an amazing luminosity after I apply this beautiful serum.

In addition to the youthful golden glow, Xanadu 24K Gold Serum moisturizes, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, evens skin tone, and repairs sun damage.

About a year ago, I read about a 24K Gold Serum from La Prairie in Harper’s Bazaar. I remember it because it stood out. It cost over $600! That’ll be the day when I can spend over $600 for an ounce of facial serum! So happy that I found Xanadu 24K Gold Serum, a much more affordable alternative.

I apply one pump of the lightweight gel serum to my entire face. One day, I decided to do two pumps, and in addition to the golden glow, I had little flecks of gold on my skin. So now, I stick with one pump. Also with one pump, the bottle will last me quite a while.

I have been using this luxurious and lovely serum twice a day for about two weeks. I have seen an instant luminosity each time I use it. I will continue using Xanadu 24K Gold Serum to reap the longer term benefits. Because I have been using vitamin C or hyaluronic acid or antioxidant serums twice a day for almost two years now, it’s difficult to attribute specific skin changes to one particular serum. But so far, my skin feels hydrated, soothed, and rather plump, actually. I’m still working on fading dark spots with this serum as well as an intensive vitamin C spot treatment from another brand, and over the long haul, I have seen some of my dark spots disappear and others fade. I am a believer in vitamin C serums!

Definitely check out Xanadu 24K Serum from ISA Professional, one ounce/30 ml. It is a luxurious skincare treatment and treat that is within reach. It’s sold on the ISA Professional website and also on Amazon for $59 with free shipping in the US, Canada and internationally.

Ingredients
24K Gold, Deionized water, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Collagen, Rose Extract, Hyaluronic acid, Creatine, Beta-Glucan, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide (Matrixyl-3000), Epidermal Growth Factor, P-anisic.

EVAO Organic Argan Oil

ISA Professional was also kind enough to enclose a bottle of their EVAO Argan Oil along with the 24K gold serum. EVAO is an almost fragrance-free (there’s a faint natural scent from the argan oil), 100% certified USDA organic, cold-pressed argan oil that is made by a fair trade cooperative of Berber women in Morocco. It is one of the best argan oils that I have ever tried. It instantly sinks into my skin and leaves no grease behind. I love it! I’ll continue to make good use of it on my hair and skin.

    1. Gio, check out the link to their website. I believe it is available internationally & there’s supposed to be free shipping too. It is a beautiful serum!

    1. Oh, was I happy to get this serum! And surprise, the gold serum actually does give my face a wonderful luminous glow. Plus it looks great on my vanity, in fact so pretty, I hate to use it, lol, but I do.

  1. I know I saw something like this at Sephora once, and thought it looked really gimicky, but still beautiful. That’s cool that the gold dissolves into the skin to make a glow. It must feel so fancy to use it!

    1. Yes, it does, Tess! It is such a beautiful serum in the bottle, I hate to use it. Since it has such great ingredients in addition to the gold, it really is a perfect serum!

  2. This looks SO luxurious & interesting. Maybe it’s just because I’m so attracted to sparkly things. hehe. I’ll be curious to see what long-term benefits you find from this serum. Great review, as always!

    1. To be honest, I’ve been using a succession of serums for two years. I’m never without a serum. Frankly, I get results from the totality of them, and I pretty much judge them on aesthetics and their ingredient list. Xanadu definitely has one of the best ingredient lists I’ve seen at this price point, and I adore the way it looks and the luminosity it gives my skin. Love it

    1. That’s funny, Mandy! I love sparkles so it ticks off that box for me. But this serum has an impressive ingredient list and the luminosity the gold gives my skin is a plus.

    1. Gold gives luminosity, and it does have anti-inflammatory properties. Some studies show that it helps fade fine lines and wrinkles. I think my skin looks most luminous when I wear it. And the rest of the ingredient list is impressive. The best part is the way it looks. Plus it feels good on. I really like this one!

    1. It is so lovely. I like the shape of the bottle, and the gold flecks inside the gel look so luxurious. And it has a very good ingredient list. I really like this serum a lot!

  3. A serum with gold flecks? Yes please. I don’t think I could bring myself to use it, it’s too beautiful! Reminds me of that nail polish with REAL gold flakes that was all the rage a couple of years ago…except you can massage it on your face! FANTASTIC!

    1. I sort of feel the same way, Andy, because it’s so dang pretty in the lovely little bottle. Thankfully, I still have 3/4 of the bottle left! And yes, it is like the nail polish with the gold flecks! But in addition to the gold that does give a nice luminosity, the ingredient list is impressive. I’m loving this serum!

  4. The moment i read title about 24K gold serum my first thought was..’Oh! that must be very expensive’! Then i read your post further and realized its not that expensive. In fact this one is worth the price, knowing the wonder 24k gold serum does to skin!

    1. I think the price is fair for all the great ingredients that are in the formula – Matrixyl, EGF that is very pricey, vitamins C& E, botanicals, gold etc. plus the gorgeous packaging. It really is a beautiful serum

  5. I was sent a moisturizer that had 24k gold flakes in it. However, it was not nearly $600. The serum you have featured in your post have plenty of gold flakes. I mean it is a whole lot of flakes in it. It might be worth the $600. My moisturizer had a flake here and a flake there.

    1. No, Tee, you read it wrong! The LaPrairie Serum that I read about in Harper’s Bazaar cost $600. The Xanadu 24K Gold Serum from ISA Professional costs 1/10 the price, $60! Big difference 😉

  6. Spectacular phots but rather than the gold flecks what really impressed me about this serum was the ingredient list – this is definitely worth a try.
