If you’re a Sephora Beauty Insider, you should have received your 15% off coupon for Chic Week in the mail. This coupon is good for your entire purchase, not just one item. So it’s great if you’re planning a haul! The coupon starts today, April 12, and goes through April 21.
If you’re not a member of Sephora’s loyalty program yet, you should join. Their coupons throughout the year, the gift on your birthday (this year’s gift is Benefit”s They’re Real Mascara and Watt’s Up face highlighter), and the sample or deluxe size products that you get by redeeming points accrued through purchases make it worthwhile…plus it’s free to join. If you spend a lot of money at Sephora over the course of a year ($350), you can qualify to become a VIB (very important beauty). As a VIB, you get more frequent coupons and discounts, first dibs at new products, and invitations to special events.
Ulta
I just got back from a quick trip to Ulta, and there are some great sales on affordable brands. Revlon, Almay and NYX are 40% off. I picked up an NYX Slim Lip Pencil and a Slim Eye Pencil, each $2.09, regular price $3.49.
This isn’t a sale, but while I was browsing the prestige brands at Ulta, I came across Amazing Cosmetics, a brand I hadn’t noticed before. They have a really amazing full coverage cream concealer that you apply with a brush on areas that are hard to conceal: sun damage, redness, scars. It is truly full coverage, and it is pricey at $42 for a smallish tube. I will wait for an Ulta coupon before I buy that one, but it was very impressive.
