Oh, I love this lipstick! Too Faced La Creme Lipstick is my favorite, without a doubt.
Beautylish, a new website for beauty tips, reviews, tutorials and shopping, had a $10 coupon for first time buyers last month, and I took advantage of it to try Too Faced La Creme Lipstick. I like all of the Too Faced products I’ve tried, so I thought this one would be a good one too. Actually, it’s better than I expected.
It is exactly as billed: Color Drenched Lip Cream. The color is rich, pigment-saturated, and it provides full coverage with one swipe. It’s quite long lasting for a cream lipstick. Though it won’t make it through a meal, the color lasts for several hours of regular wear.
The creaminess is lovely. Many lipsticks and even balms have an ingredient that dries out my lips. Too Faced La Creme Lipstick does not. It feels comfortable and incredibly hydrating. It’s lipstick heaven! According to the website, the hydrating moisturizers include white lotus flower and power peptide. The website goes on to say:
- Lotus Flower Extract: Hydrating, soothing and lip-conditioning with environmental protection provided by antioxidants.
- Power Peptides: Conditioning, smoothing and firming for the delicate lip area.
The slim gold tube is sophisticated and feminine, the type of lipstick you can enjoy applying in a restaurant.
Too Faced La Creme Lipstick comes in 20 shades, ranging from nudes/neutrals, spices, pinks, reds, and berries. I bought Cinnamon Kiss, “spiced brown” that I’d describe as a neutral-ish shade blended with berry, a great shade for redheads or brunettes.
The price is $21 for 0.11 fl. oz. or 3.1 ml. If you’re in the market for a new lipstick, this is the one!
It is vegan-friendly and paraben-free.
