The Body Shop Advent Calendar
Well, maybe not the “news” exactly, but close. A few weeks ago, I reviewed my first Advent calendar ever: 24 Days of Enchanted Beauty from The Body Shop (reviewed here). The 24 Day Enchanted Beauty calendar was such a success it sold out, but now it’s back in stock. Actually, all 3 sizes of the Advent calendars are back in stock. Even though we’re halfway through Advent, it’s not too late to enjoy or to gift this fun and very useful calendar filled with travel size and some full size products from The Body Shop.
The Body Shop is featuring 24 beauty bloggers on the Advent calendar page of their website with each blogger giving a beauty tip for each of the 24 days of the Enchanted Beauty Advent Calendar. And how cool that I am representing Day 17! Woo hoo! Check it out here!
Diptyque Candles Giveaway
I have a quick giveaway for you. A generous reader and friend of Never Say Die Beauty, the witty and wonderful Rach, has provided the giveaway gift. How fabulous is that?!
Rach is donating two mini Diptyque Candles, 35 gram size, in Tuberose and Gardenia. If you’re not familiar with Diptyque, it is a distinguished French brand, started in the fashionable area of St. Germain in Paris in 1954 by three friends: an interior designer, an artist and a theater director/set designer. They started the business by creating a stunning shop to display their designs and creations. Since then, Diptyque is best known for their very special scented candles that really pack a fragrance punch!
- Tuberose: Enigmatic and beguiling, this heady flower deploys its captivating sensuality at dusk. A favorite perfume note.
- Gardenia: An exotic sweet scent from the plant that is popular at Christmas and is a staple in the Southern garden. The velvety, fragrant, white flower that Billie Holiday wore in her hair.
Both scents are for those who like strong, exotic floral fragrances!
The mini candles weigh 35 grams. Each candle comes in clear glass with their well-know logo label. Each burns for up to 15 hours. Their retail price is about $35 for the pair!
So if you are a fan of Tuberose and Gardenia and you love to fragrance your home with candles, this is the giveaway for you to enter. It is a wonderful opportunity to get to try candles from this pricey French brand.

I always have candles burning around my house – we go through a lot! I also like to take travel or smaller size candles with us when we stay in hotels. These Diptyque candles are perfect for that (plus I adore these Diptyque scents).

Oh I would be in SUCH TROUBLE if there was a boutique down the street from me. They’d have to kick me out because I’d be in there all the time with my face stuffed into the largest size of my favourite candle that they had on display! lol

I grew up with two huge gardenia bushes right outside my home, so this smell always brings back great memories!

I’ve heard great things about Diptique candles. I missed the giveaway but I think I might actually buy that Gardenia scent for my MIL who LOVES the scent of Gardenias.
The woman who provided the giveaway gift sent me a mini Diptyque Benzoin candle, and it is divine. I would imagine that the gardenia would be amazing for a gardenia lover.
