Earth Clean Beauty Moisture & Repair Haircare

After I burned my hair a few years ago using an ancient flat iron, I became a haircare loyalist. Pretty much. Olaplex No. 4 Moisturizing Shampoo and JOICO K-PAK Hair Treatment are the shampoo and conditioner that I use almost all the time.

As a result, I mostly turn down opportunities to try out shampoos and conditioners. But for some reason, I said yes to Earth Clean Beauty Moisture & Repair Shampoo and Conditioner

Earth Clean Beauty

Earth Clean Beauty is just that: a clean beauty brand. It’s also cruelty-free and affordable. In fact, Earth Clean Beauty is sold at Walmart for less than $5 a bottle!

In addition, their products are free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates, silicone, dyes, and petroleum-based ingredients. Importantly for me, it’s safe for color-treated hair.

Earth Clean Beauty is concerned with sustainability, and they choose ecologically-friendly ingredients for their products such as coconut, flaxseed, rice and quinoa. They combine those plant-based proteins and botanical oils with fragrant essentials like hibiscus, marula oil, bamboo, aloe, and more.

Although I tried the Moisture & Repair duo, they also have three other collections for other hair care needs:

  • Smooth & Shine
  • Curl Care
  • Weightless Volume.

And I just noticed that Earth Clean Beauty makes a 7-in-1 Leave-In Treatment with Hyaluronic Acid and an Anti-Frizz Serum that both look very appealing!

Moisture & Repair Shampoo & Conditioner with Argan and Aloe

Moisture & Repair Shampoo and Conditioner contain argan oil that can penetrate the hair shaft to help hair retain moisture and increase elasticity to prevent breakage. Argan oil also creates shine. Aloe soothes and calms the scalp while it nourishes.

Moisture & Repair Shampoo

I’m used to using thick, creamy, high-sudsing shampoo, so the first time I used Moisture & Repair Shampoo, I was surprised when I squeezed some of the shampoo out of the bottle. It’s more liquidy than I expected. I poured it onto my hair and scalp, and massaged it into a lather. I would describe it as a low or lower-sudsing shampoo. Again, the first time I used it, I probably used more than I needed because I was trying to create a lot of suds.

Well, I have learned that a lot of suds isn’t necessary. It cleaned my hair and scalp extremely well. In fact, I used it again today, and my hair hadn’t been washed in almost a week. Because I had so much strenuous yard work to do including shoveling almost a yard of loam, I figured why wash my hair when it was only going to get dirty again the next day. So my hair was really dirty, and it came out squeaky clean!

Moisture & Repair Conditioner

The conditioner has a thicker, creamy consistency. I applied it and left it on for a few minutes while I shaved my legs. It rinsed out easily, and my wet hair felt protected and smooth.

More Info on the Moisture & Repair Duo

My hair came out great! It was silky soft. After blow-drying, it was less coarse and frizzy than usual that I almost (but not quite) didn’t need to flat iron it.

The shampoo and conditioner both have fragrance listed in the ingredients. In my shower, I use highly fragranced bar soap, Molton Brown shower gel, and Spongellé Body Buffers on the regular. So honestly, I couldn’t smell the fragrance in Earth Clean Beauty Moisture Repair Shampoo & Conditioner at all. I went back and sniffed the open bottles to try to experience the scent. The shampoo has a mild fresh, gender-neutral scent in the bottle. I couldn’t smell the conditioner at all.

Both bottles contain 12 oz. and are priced around $4.48 at Walmart/Walmart.com. I believe it may be an exclusive for Walmart right now. Based on my experience with Earth Clean Beauty Moisture & Repair, I think this brand’s haircare would be a perfect all-family brand:

  • affordable
  • gender-neutral
  • sustainable ingredients
  • cruelty-free
  • color-safe
  • effective.

  1. Yes this is a wonderful conditioner. My daughter’s thick hair looked gorgeous after using it. However my local Wal-Mart in Tunkhannock PA Stopped carrying it! I’m pissed!

    1. Tonya, did you check with someone at the Tunkhannock Walmart? You can buy it online, but I know paying for the shipping makes it less of a bargain. I know it’s not next door, but maybe call Walmart Walmart Supercenter 390 ROUTE 315 HWY PITTSTON PA 18640 and ask if they still carry it??
