City Lips is launching a new Limited Edition shade of their iconic City Lips Lipgloss just in time for autumn.
“Sparkling Cider”, a spicy red-orange translucent lipgloss, has pink shimmer in the light of day.
I love the new shade that reminds me of autumn leaves. (Thankfully, our leaves haven’t started changing quite yet.) And also the color of apple cider, of course!
Because Sparkling Cider is sheer-ish, it gives my lips a hint of color. Though I often go for opaque shades of City Lips, I love Sparkling Cider because I can wear it for everyday over bare lips to give my normally pale lips just enough color. And the subtle sparkle in the sun is fun and attractive!
I also wear it over my peach colored lipsticks and pink lipsticks to add dimension, shine as well as a little sparkle. Here it is (below) over peach lipstick (I should have used a lipliner, as always I forgot):
