Foxbrim Hyaluronic Acid Serum

I love serums, and I never get tired of trying new ones. I use them at least twice a day. I practically drink the stuff  😉 For the past month, I’ve been trying out a serum from a brand that was new to me, Foxbrim. The product is Foxbrim Hyaluronic Acid Serum with Vitamins C and E and MSM, methylsulfonylmethane, an ingredient that is supposed to aid in absorption to help the other ingredients work better.

Lately, I’ve been using Vitamin C serums that have some hyaluronic acid in them. This is the opposite, it’s a hyaluronic acid serum with some vitamin C, among other ingredients, in it. I don’t know whether the amount of vitamin C in this formula is equal to the amount in vitamin C serums, so sometimes I use both together! I like the Foxbrim Hyaluronic Acid Serum a lot. The Foxbrim website says it is appropriate for all skin types. But it is created in a glycerin base rather than a water base, so it feels instantly hydrating to my dry skin. Now, that the heat is back on in my house most days, I am eager to keep my dry skin well hydrated, and the Foxbrim Hyaluronic Acid Serum seems to help.

Foxbrim Hyaluronic Acid Serum comes in a traditional apothecary brown glass bottle with a dropper (the brown glass helps protect the efficacy of the ingredients). In fact, the instructions suggest storing the serum in the refrigerator, but I am too lazy to have to go downstairs to the kitchen to get it twice a day so I keep it in the bathroom cabinet. The gel-like formula is quite thick, and getting it into the dropper toward the end of the bottle is a bit of a chore, but I really like this HA serum so I’m motivated to get every last drop.

Foxbrim Hyaluronic Acid Serum contains 1 fl. oz./30 ml. It does not contain parabens, fillers. It is not tested on animals. A little goes a long way, so it will last you a while.

The product is sold on Amazon (see ad below), and it is currently on sale for $16.99. It is guaranteed, so it can be returned for a full refund if you have any issues…not that I think you will! It gets 4.5 stars on Amazon from over 150 product reviews. Impressive! If you have dry skin and are looking for a product to boost the hydration level of your skin, check out Foxbrim Hyaluronic Acid Serum with vitamins C +E.

Ingredients: Organic Herbal Infusion, Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf (Aloe), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel), Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (botanical hyaluronic acid), Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Carrageenan Gum, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil), Wildcrafted Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea), Pelargonium Gravolens (Geranium Essential Oil), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Sodium Benzoate, PotassiumSorbate, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  1. This sounds like an amazing Hyaluronic Serum– it’s interesting that it is in a glycerine rather than water base– this makes lots of sense! This combination certainly bolsters both hydration and moisture levels! Excellent review, Allison! I am going to add this to my list when I run out of my other Hyaluronic serums! 🙂

    1. Lola, this is a wonderful HA serum. I have tried both water-based and glycerin-based serums of all kinds, and because my skin is so dry, I prefer the thicker, glycerin-based ones. But if I had oilier skin, I would prefer the water-based, I’m sure. Definitely worth putting on your list!

  2. Great review – thanks!

  3. I have combination skin, but I am a huge proponent of beauty oils– so my skin is quite used to using oil based serums. This really sounds like a game-changing HA serum!

    1. That’s good that you can use any skin. The glycerin in this one does make it a bit heavier going on which my dry skin loves, but it sinks in and is gone in a minute 🙂

  4. Sounds wonderful! Thanks for the review.

    1. Some vitamin C serums have HA in them, but this HA serum has more HA and less Vit C. I have begun layering the serums. I’m seriously over the top!

  6. I’m always looking for new serums to try. The combination of Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid make this one sound divine!

    1. Jamie, I’m trying to figure out whether the amount of vitamin C in this serum is equal to that in a Vitamin C serum, and I just don’t know. I am a serum junkie so I apply both a vitamin C and this one!!

  7. I have tried serums before, but I just can’t see any difference in my skin. Maybe I’m too much on the younger end of the spectrum for them to be effective for me.

    1. If your skin is well hydrated and feels comfortable to you, then you probably don’t need it. Lucky!

  8. They do a mess of good in my under eye area! haha

  13. I tried a lotion from Foxbrim, and really liked it! It sounds like this serum was made with the same care. I love serums!

    1. Actually, Nidia, I remembered reading your review of one of their products, and it was what made me interested in trying the product. It’s a good one for my super-dry skin, especially now that I’ve had to turn the heat back on. 🙂

  14. HA is a great ingredient. Nice to see it in a serum instead of a cream.

    1. That’s so interesting, Carleen. I’ve always used it in a serum, although there may be some added to some of the moisturizers I use.

  15. You always have very informative reviews

    1. Thank you so much, Betzy. I think that comes from my days as a researcher/market researcher, lol.

  16. I’m so intrigued by this! I’ve never tried anything like it!

    1. It’s a pretty neat combo of so many of the hot ingredients in skincare, Valesha. Hyaluronic acid is so important for skin hydration, especially in somewhat older skin so you may not need it at this point. But it makes a big difference for me. And vitamin C is so great for brightening, fading imperfections etc.

  17. Allison, do you use the c serum first and then, this one? I need to know, because I’m ordering it. I love the c serum you reviewed.

    1. Jane, I do use the vitamin C serum first and then this one. This is a thick, glycerin-based serum, but my skin is very dry and it feels so good going on and it sinks in in a very short time. I am not sure that it makes a difference about the order, but my thinking is that the vitamin C gets right to my dark spots and the HA just sinks in. But who knows?! Not sure where you live, but it’s been cold and the heat is now on in the house and my skin really appreciates this HA serum. I’ll try to do some research and if I find out anything different about the order, I’ll let you know 🙂 Layering is definitely in in skincare I hear!

      1. Thanks, Allison. That’s what I thought, since the Foxbrim is so thick.
I’m in East Texas, about forty miles east of Shreveport, LA.
We get nothing like the cold you do..thank God! Couldn’t stand it! But, I’m sure you’d hate our heat!

    2. Jane, I did a little bit of research, and another way might be to use the HA serum at night and the vitamin C serum during the day. The Vitamin C serum, I believe, may have higher levels of vitamin C/antioxidants than the HA + vitamin C/E serum so using it during the day will help brighten and protect against free radicals etc. I might give that a try, and they’ll both last a little longer. What do you think?

  18. This definitely sounds like just my kind of serum! Thank for such a great review! <3

  22. I’ve always used it in a cream, lol! But I haven’t specifically looked for it in a serum.

    1. I don’t think I’ve tried HA in a cream, unless it was a small amount among a lot of other ingredients. Either way, it’s a good thing!

  23. Sounds good. Added benefit: Products last twice as long!

    1. Yes! Let me know what you think when you get it.
