Kushyfoot Legwear & Ballet Flats: Cushy, Comfy, Warm

portable ballet flats

I love to visit my close friends, Fintan and William, in their adorable ranch house. They bought it a little over a year ago, and they renovated the whole house. They put down beautiful new wood floors throughout. William who is from China grew up removing his shoes when he came home, and with his tradition and the newish floors, he prefers that guests do the same. Usually they greet me with a pair of men’s slippers when I arrive. Though that’s very nice so I don’t have to go barefoot or walk around in my socks, I needed an alternative.

Enter Kushyfoot. Several weeks ago, Kushyfoot, the makers of women’s reflexology-inspired legwear, gave me an opportunity to try a few of their new products. I love to have reflexology treatments, but I never realized that it had anything to do with legwear! Regardless of the reflexology technology, Kushyfoot makes stylish, comfy and affordable products. They were kind enough to send me a pair of fleece-lined trouser socks, ribbed tights and two pairs of cute leopard-print ballet flats.

Flats To Go

The ballet flats are made of very soft fabric on a thin flexible sole. They are very lightweight, and they come folded in half in a handy little plastic pouch that will fit in a good-sized purse. Or they can be kept in the glove compartment of your car. I will be carrying the ballet flats with me so that if I drop in to visit Fintan and William, I’ll be all set with my own footwear, thank you very much! These adorable little leopard flats are perfect to take on a plane. They will also be a foot-saver for those times when I’m wearing shoes that aren’t the most comfortable and I am dying to take my shoes off! That happens to me more times than I care to admit.

leopard Flats To Go

In addition to the leopard print, Flats To Go come in a few other fabrics and colors:

  • black patent
  • silver snake
  • black fabric.

They are priced at $9.99-11.99 depending on the fabric/color you choose.

I have small feet, and the size 5-6, the smallest size, is actually a little big even though I typically wear size 6.5, so you may want to go with a slightly smaller size than usual. The other sizes are 7-8 and 9-10, essentially small, medium and large. As I mentioned, the flats are lightweight and they are best worn indoors. They also make nice slippers especially for warmer weather.

Fleece-lined Trouser Socks

The trouser socks are so wonderful. I never knew there was such a thing as “fleece-lined” socks! In this cold weather, they are perfect. I find myself reaching for them all the time to wear with my boots or even with shoes to keep my feet and legs from the knees down warner.

I got size small for my size 6.5 feet. Before they arrived, I thought fleece-lined knee-his would be bulky, but they are not at all. They look great and are comfy and cozy. If you live in a cold-weather area, you must get these! They’re priced at $5.99, and they are well worth it! Kushyfoot also makes fleece-lined tights that must be fabulous on a cold day.

The Trouser Socks are also available in non-fleeced versions, and they can be had in opaque, fishnet or ribbed.

Tights

I’m wearing the black ribbed tights that I received right now. They are very nice looking, and very comfortable. If it weren’t so cold out, I’d be tempted to put on a skirt because I love the look of the ribbing. Very stylish! (Sorry it’s not a great photo of me wearing them, but at least you can see the ribs.)

In addition to ribbed, they come in:

  • opaque
  • chevron
  • diamond
  • fishnet.

The tights come with a comfy reflexology-inspired sole with slightly raised zigzags that help stimulate the foot. Even the fishnet tights come this way instead of with uncomfortable fishnet feet!

My tights are a size medium, and they fit me perfectly even though I’m only a little over 5 feet tall. They would most likely fit you even if you are considerably taller. These are not fleece-lined, but they keep my legs nice and warm. They are priced from $6.99-7.49.

Kushyfoot also makes shapewear tights ($9.99) made with Lycra, and I thought that I would need or prefer those. Maybe it’s all the shoveling I’ve been doing lately, but these fit me well and seem quite slenderizing. I love ’em!

Kushyfoot legwear and flats are sold in stores, on Amazon, and on the Kushyfoot website where the socks and tights are sold in multiples packs (e.g. 2 or 3 per pack). Definitely get to know this brand, and check out the rest of their product line including footless tights, toe covers, and sandals and open-toe Flats-To-Go. Kushyfoot provides comfort, quality and style at an affordable price! I’m going to be wearing the trouser socks and tights for the rest of this winter for sure. And my ballet flats will be going wherever I go 🙂

  1. Those flats are adorable and the socks and tights look perfect. I’m going to check these out – its been so cold that dressing up isn’t as fun! 🙂

  2. Those flats look so comfy! I know you said these are best for indoor use, but do you think these would work outside? I know the sole is thin and flexible, but I feel like this kind of thing would be great if you’ve been wearing heels all night and your feet hurt!

    1. They are a very thin plastic-y sole, Sammi. I think they’d be fine to wear if your feet hurt at the mall or to walk to the car, but I wouldn’t wear them instead of regular shoes on a regular basis. They’re like slippers. I could see wearing them in the grocery store or at work if my shoes were uncomfortable…that sort of thing 😉

    1. That’s the real reason why I was so thrilled to get them. I hate having to go barefoot or in socks or in borrowed slippers at someone’s house. Basically, I hate it when someone asks me to remove my shoes, lol

  3. Just got home from 8 hours of work on my feet, so those slippers look pretty amazing right about now. Love that they come with a bag for easy carry as well. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Love the slippers especially, we lived in Asia for years and got into the habit of removing shoes and still do (which came in handy when I had babies on the floor and didn’t want germs on the floor from shoes).

    1. That makes perfect sense, Melissa! In my friends’ house, there are no babies, just a dog who plays outside in the yard and whose nails certainly scratch the floor, so I think it’s just habit. 😉 The ballet slippers are really cute, and they are great to keep in my purse for unexpected needs like visiting! Speaking of visiting, thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂

  5. I have the flats and the trouser socks as well and love them! The trouser socks have become my go to winter sock as they’re just so comfy and warm.

    1. I’m so glad that you love ’em too, Bailey! I’m so happy that I got to try these Kushyfoot products. I’ve gotta buy more trouser socks. I wish I wore skirts/dresses more often ‘coz I’d buy the fleece-lined tights too

    1. I didn’t know that it was cold in FL this winter. I guess I’ve been preoccupied with our below zero temperatures and tons and tons of snow! The foldable ballet flats are definitely cute and handy. They’re great for indoors because the foldable sole is quite thin.

    1. Haha, Brooke, that’s why I always wore socks, but the floors were too slippery. Glad I’ve got my cute portable leopard ballet flats now with me at all times!

    1. The ballet flats are the perfect portable slippers to have when your feet are tired. And I love the tights too! I think I wear the fleece-lined socks the most since it’s so cold around here!
