Naturalico Vitamin C 20% Serum with Hyaluronic Acid

What, another one, you say! Well, yes. I love serums, especially serums with vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. So I take advantage of almost every opportunity to try a new one.

This time, I’ve been testing Naturalico Vitamin C 20% Serum by Bella Naturals that I received from the blogger association, Tomoson, for review.

Naturalico Vitamin C 20% with Hyaluronic Acid is a natural serum, as the name suggests. It’s chock full of natural ingredients including loads of herbal extracts and oils including a number of natural ingredients that I love:

  • rosehip seed oil
  • wild geranium oil
  • green tea extract
  • sea buckthorn oil
  • and plant stems cells among other natural ingredients.

It also contains skin-loving vitamin E. I was impressed by the fact that it contains 98% natural ingredients, 72% of which are organic. Sounds great to me  🙂

Here are the benefits listed on the bottle: “This serum is a concentrated delivery system for the highest form of active bio-available Vitamin C for beautiful skin. Enriched with Vitamin E and suspended in a concentrated base of pure vegan hyaluronic acid to plump skin cells and protect and restore. It will give your skin a beautiful and youthful appearance by stimulating collagen, reducing fine lines and improving skin’s tone, texture and elasticity.”

I’ve said several times before that each vitamin C and hyaluronic acid serum I try is different in its own way. Naturalico Vitamin C 20% Serum is a light serum that almost feels like heavy water. It doesn’t drip, but it is the lightest of the serums I have tried. Although it is certainly recommended for all skintypes, I believe that this would be an especially  wonderful serum for those with combination or oily skin. For my desert-dry skin, I prefer the heavier gel serums because I feel like a thick gel is adding moisture immediately to my skin. But that’s just me. This lightweight serum dries quickly, so you can follow up with your moisturizer without having to wait. BTW, it has almost no discernible scent.

I’ve been using Naturalico Vitamin C 20% Serum twice a day. With vitamin C at the 20% level, it is at the top of the desired amount of vitamin C. I’m still working on fading all those years of sun damage that have started to show up on my face.

Naturalico Vitamin C 20% Serum comes in a 1 fl. oz. protective brown glass apothecary bottle with a glass dropper. It is cruelty-free and displays the Leaping Bunny logo. It’s made in the U.S.

    1. I think it’s a really good C serum, just not hydrating enough for my skin.

  4. Forgive my ridiculous ignorance, but how do you apply this to your face? Just drop some into your hands and then rub into your skin?

    1. Krystal, that is a great question! I shouldn’t have taken it for granted that everyone knows how to apply serums. I have reviewed so many of them lately, I guess I erroneously relied on readers having read my earlier posts, and that is certainly not the case. To apply serum, squirt about half a dropper full of the liquid into the palm of your hand. Press your other hand on top of the hand with the serum in it and pat the serum onto your clean, dry skin. Let it dry and then apply your moisturizer or other serums. Hope that helps!

  5. This sounds like the serum for me, I have that oily/ combination skin and some oils drive me nuts when it’s like water

    1. Well, I would say this one is like water but just a little thicker. It has some substance to it, but it’s on the watery side. I prefer the heavy/thick liquids or gels for my dry skin. Hope that helps describe it better, Jessica!
