New Organics Collection from Farmhouse Fresh!

Oh happy day! My favorite delectably scented skincare brand, Farmhouse Fresh, just launched a new Organics collection!

I recently wrote about an organics ingredients certification that I hadn’t been aware of, NSF/ANSI 305, that certifies to a particular standard. The world’s largest certifier QAI is authorized by the USDA to certify organic operations according to the guidelines for the National Organic Program. In a time when consumer safety standards are being rolled back, I’m happy to see that Farmhouse Fresh is adding more standards to their already high quality products. In fact, FHF’s CEO Shannon McLinden explained that “The detailed certification requires inspections of pick bins, gloves, equipment, storage containers, handling facilities, and filling processes to ensure certification standards are not compromised.” FHF uses up to 95% organic ingredients in the new products in this collection. In addition, the Organics line is free of GMOs, synthetic herbicides and pesticides, parabens, and sulfates. They are cruelty-free, and all but one of the new products (Sunflower-Honey Butter) is vegan. Impressive!

But standards aside, this is an exciting addition to the Farmhouse Fresh product lineup. When I heard about the 8 new products in this initial Organics launch, there was one I knew I wanted to try ASAP: Island Elixir Shea Butter Hand Cream. I was thrilled when I opened up the box from FHF and there it was.  🙂

First thing, the scent is ah-mazing! It smells like a pina colada: it has notes of pineapple and coconut. For me, that’s heaven. The scent fades a bit over time, but you still can smell it faintly if you sniff your hands but not enough to interfere with wearing perfume. If you’re a fan of pina colada, I strongly recommend that you try this fabulous hand cream!

Second, the Organics Island Elixir Hand Cream is formulated with certified-organic coconut oil, shea butter, aloe vera, sweet almond oil, honeysuckle, and cocoa butter. It’s perfect for dry, chapped hands. Though I love my regular FHF Hand Cream, the Island Elixir Organics version is a more hydrating formula that seems longer lasting. It’s perfect for my winter dry skin but not so heavy that I wouldn’t be able to use it year round.

Island Elixir Hand Cream contains 2.4 oz. and retails at $16. You can find it and the other Organics products listed below on the Farmhouse Fresh website or at fine hotels and spas that carry the brand like the Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt, Marriott, Weston Dubai, Sandals & Beaches Resorts etc.

The rest of the new Organics collection includes:

The new Organics collection would make a terrific self-treat or a very well-received hostess gift. I know I plan to get the Island Elixir Shea Butter Body Cream for summer! How about you? Which of the new FHF Organics products strike your fancy?

  1. I like that this hand cream is good for cuticles too. I don’t think I’ll be trying this though because I am more than happy with my Vichy hand cream which I have repurchase many times. I do have a few Farmhouse Fresh products in my list to try after reading your glowing reviews on the brand. Happy Friday, Allison!

    1. I’m glad to hear that Vichy hand cream is a good one! I have tried a couple of Vichy products in the past and I liked them a lot. It’s always so good to find products that work for us that we can repurchase over and over. Someday, you might enjoy trying Farmhouse Fresh. Their products are in the better-for-you category, and if you like food/drink-oriented scents like I do, I think you’d enjoy them. They are almost good enough to eat!

I am loving FHF,thank you for introducing me to them. Thankfully,I have plenty of body butters and hand creams right now because this sounds fabulous. In reading the new line products I am thrilled to see the Lemongrass Body Soak,I am a sucker for lemongrass when done right and I bet FHF does it perfectly. That is going to the top of my must try list now that I am loving the masks. 😉

    1. Oh, I know we can’t buy everything, can we Laura? But I am happy to spread the word especially on products and brands that I love. Coming out with organic products is a big deal because it is so difficult and pricey to do. I was pleasantly surprised that this new Organics collection from FHF is within reach. I’m a sucker for pina colada scent so I know I will buy the Island Elixir Body Butter for the summer, and I hope I can make some headway into using up a lot of the body butters I already have – so I know exactly what you’re talking about. I’m curious about the Lemongrass Body Soak too. The only lemongrass product I own now is Nail Butter, and I love the scent and how well it works. In the meantime, I’m so glad you are enjoying the FHF masks!

  3. How about ALL OF IT?! That hand cream sounds delish. I need to stop in my local spa that has FHF products and go to town.
