Heat Holders Sierra Performance Mittens

If you are shopping for someone who lives in a cold climate or for yourself for that matter, you must check out Heat Holders Sierra Performance Mittens. You know I already love Heat Holders products, but the Sierra Performance Mittens are at the pinnacle of cold weather protection. No kidding!

Sierra Performance Mittens are for the very coldest winter weather. Although it hasn’t reached that stage north of Boston quite yet, I know it’s on its way. I will be outside in the snow as well as cold and dark weather shoveling, to be sure. But this winter, I will be wearing my Heat Holders Sierra Performance Mittens.

These grey and black mittens are super-protective. The outer material as well as the liner are made from polyester that repels water. I know these will be my shoveling mittens because they’re waterproof and wind-proof.

They are “gauntlet” style mittens that come up higher, past your wrist, to keep out snow. Plus they have adjustable closures that let you tighten them around your wrist and also at the end of the glove on your arm to make sure that no snow or cold air gets in.

In addition, the insulated inner lining is made with Heatweaver soft, warm and cozy, plush thermal fabric.

The palms have gripping material on the outside so you can grip onto shovels, ski poles, or anything else you might be carrying in the outdoors.

Finally, they have small clips to clip the mittens together when you’re not wearing them, so you don’t end up with a missing mitten like I did with the pair I bought last year from Eddie Bauer, boo.

The Women’s Sierra Performance Mittens are one size fits all. Even though I have relatively small hands, these work for me. Plus the adjustable closures at the wrist and arm make them fit just fine.

I haven’t had to try it yet, but the Performance Mittens are handwash only. But they look easy to toss in the sink along with some detergent to get them clean, when necessary.

Heat Holders Sierra Performance Mittens are priced at $29.99 on the Heat Holders website where you’ll find the best price.

I’m not really looking forward to really cold weather, but at least my hands will be nice and toasty warm and dry this winter!
