New Shades of City Lips!

Hooray, today’s the day that three new shades of my favorite lip treatment, City Lips, go live! I’ve been very excited about this since I received my samples. City Lips doesn’t introduce new shades all that often so I’m happy to announce that there are 3 new permanent shades!

  • Coral Sunrise: new, coral opaque
  • South Peach: new, peach sheer
  • Orchid: reintroduced, purple-pink shimmer

Honestly, I think City Lips created brand new Coral Sunrise and South Peach for redheads like me! But truth be told, they are fabulous seasonal shades that will look great on a variety of skin tones and hair colors.

Coral Sunrise City Lips

I couldn’t love Coral Sunrise more! I adore City Lips’ opaque glosses. And a coral that is just shy of being red couldn’t suit me better. I’m thrilled that this is a permanent shade!

South Peach City Lips

South Peach is a translucent peach MLBB shade. I like to wear it on its own for everyday wear or over a coral or peach satin or matte lipstick for extra hydration and a glossy look.

Orchid

Orchid isn’t shy. Orchid is a fun shade. It’s a translucent pink-purple shade with a shimmer gloss. I think it’s a great summer shade, perfect for both day and night wear.

Characteristics of All City Lips Glosses

Just as a reminder, all of City Lips glosses are thick, long lasting, but not really sticky. They have no fragrance and no taste. City Lips are amazingly hydrating, and they heal dry or chapped lips. And they make lips look fuller and plumper with no irritating chemicals. And City Lips are all cruelty-free. All of those benefits are why I’ve been using City Lips for close to 15 years!

Launch Offer

From today (May 7, 2024) through May 12, City Beauty is offering a “buy 2, get 1 free” promotion on the City Beauty website. This offer is good, not only for the new shades, but for all 14 of City Lips shades.

The way this promo works is you add the three shades that you want to your cart along with the code SPRINGLIPS and you will get your third shade for free, essentially 33% off. If you want to use this opportunity to buy more shades, just make sure you put multiples of 3 City Lips in your cart (along with the code) to get the third ones free (i.e. buy 6, get 2 of them for free, etc.). Free shipping with orders $70+. This is a great time to stock up on all your favorite shades!

    1. What’s your favorite shades so far, Randy?

      1. Rosy Mauve is my favorite, Allison. Clear is my everyday go-to.

        1. Cynthia, is Rosy Mauve a matte shade? Clear is my everyday City Lips if I am not doing anything special and also at night! Watermelon was my daytime out and about color, but now, I think I will be wearing Coral Sunrise!

          1. Rosy Mauve is a matte shade, but it is light enough that I can get away with applying it even though my hands are a little bit shaky. I used their lip oil treatment at night while the bottle lasted and then went back to my tried and true Clear City Lips.

          2. Thanks, Cynthia! Rosy Mauve is the matte shade that I like too. But I was sad to hear that City Beauty is discontinuing all the matte shades, so make your last a while. I was the same with the lip oil: used it till it was used up, but I too still prefer and use City Lips Clear!!
