Adding My Favorite Ingredient, Niacinamide, to Everything with Paula’s Choice Resist 10% Niacinamide Booster

For the past several years, I’ve been reading the ingredient list of every skincare product  I use or consider using, searching for my favorite skincare ingredient, the antioxidant niacinamide.

I discovered it a while back in an Olay Regenerist skincare product that really worked well for my skin, and since then, I’ve sought out niacinamide in the skincare products I use. But not all skincare products include it. Imagine my happiness when I discovered that famed skincare brand, Paula’s Choice, a brand that I’ve been using for more than a year, has just launched new Resist 10% Niacinamide Booster!

What is niacinamide, you ask? Niacinamide is also known as Vitamin B3 or nicotinic acid. It’s a helpful ingredient for those with aging skin (me) or acne scars or enlarged pores. Used topically, it increases ceramide and free fatty acids, it strengthens the skin’s barrier and keeps hydration in, and it increase microcirculation – it keeps things moving inside the skins cells. I’m also a big fan because it helps fade dark spots and even skin tone.

Paula’s Choice 10% Niacinamide Booster is a very cool product. It comes in a bottle with a dropper. It’s clear, lightweight and it dries quickly. Also, it’s fragrance-free.

The stuff itself can be worn on its own or mixed with other products. I typically mix a couple of “light as water” drops with a serum or with an anti-aging cream or moisturizer like Paula’s Choice Skin Recovery Replenishing Moisturizer. I mix it right in my hand, and it mixes easily. During the daytime, it should be worn with sunscreen, but I always wear sunscreen. I try to use it twice a day, morning and at bedtime. I’m so happy to be able to add 10% Niacinamide Booster to my skincare routine!

I love the fact that now I don’t have to search for niacinamide in the skincare products I use. I can always add it! This booster is a keeper for me. And it is something that I think you should consider trying if you’re fighting wrinkles and uneven skin tone like me, or trying to make enlarged pores or acne scars less visible, or trying to keep your skin as healthy, hydrated and young-looking for as long as possible.

Paula’s Choice Resist 10% Niacinamide Booster contains 20 ml/0.67 fl. oz. and is priced at $42. I use so little each time, this bottle will last me quite a while. BTW, there’s free shipping on everything (that’s a big plus for me. I hate paying shipping costs.) The Niacinamide Booster is so popular that it was out of stock on the Paula’s Choice website last week, but it should be available again now. Paula’s Choice is a cruelty-free brand.
