About a month ago, I had the opportunity to try Shoplately.com, a very cool and affordable shopping site.
Shoplately is a site for “shops” that sell clothing, accessories, shoes and boots, jewelry, and makeup, mostly manufactured items but some handmade as well. The price points range widely, but I was amazed at how much super-affordable stuff there is to buy! I mean there are a ton of things under $25, even under $20! And a lot of shops offering free shipping on anything, or on anything over $20.
I am the jewelry queen. I own a ton of jewelry of all types. In addition to my “good” (aka “expensive” jewelry), I like to buy what we used to call “costume jewelry”. I wear it for a while and then move on to whatever else is new. That said, I don’t want to spend a lot on jewelry that’s really stylish now, but may not be next year. Shoplately is the best for fun jewelry, like my new necklace and earrings that were my first Shoplately “purchase”.
Statement necklaces are the thing right now, and I can’t seem to get enough of them. I adore my new hot pink and black and jeweled necklace from glint & gleam, one of the Shoplately shops.
I believe the necklace cost around $20. I don’t remember ordering the earrings that coordinate with the necklace.
Could they be an extra little gift? In addition, I believe I got free shipping on this purchase as well.
I liked this jewelry so much, I placed an order for another necklace and something else — was it a bracelet? — that haven’t arrived yet but will be perfect for summer.
So, I think that Shoplately is a wonderful place to treat myself without breaking the bank or feeling guilty afterwards! 😉
One of the many great things about Shoplately.com is that you can get credit for referring friends who sign up and make a purchase. You get a $15 credit when a friend you referred makes her first purchase. And you can actually buy stuff, a lot of stuff, for $15.
